1. Setting Filters in Data Analysis
General Filtering Options in Data Sources for Tables
Boolee allows you to apply filters to your data sources, ensuring that only relevant information is displayed. This feature is especially useful for table views and can be configured easily via the sidebar.
How to set a filter:
Navigate to the sidebar and click on Data Sources.
Select the data source.
Click Add Condition to create a new filter condition.
Choose the level where the filter should be applied (e.g., column values).
Define the filter rule (e.g., values greater than 0).
Save the settings to activate the filter.
This feature helps reduce large datasets and ensures that only relevant records are displayed.
Group-By Filters for Aggregated Data Views
In addition to general filters, Boolee offers a Group-By feature, allowing you to group data by specific dimensions. Once grouped, you can apply targeted filters to refine your analysis.
How to apply a Group-By filter:
Open the sidebar and scroll down to Group by.
Click Group By to create a grouping based on a specific dimension (e.g., Event Name or Campaign Name).
After grouping, you can apply a specific filter. Make sure to have the respective Group by selected.
Example: Show only Shopping campaigns.
Example: Filter for German campaigns.
Tip: If you click on Contains, it switches to Not Contains.
This feature enables deeper insights into segmented data and facilitates targeted analysis of campaigns or events.
